Dr. AQ Khan’s last letter to Sindh CM, complimenting his efforts in Tough Times has been released

Father of Pakistan’s nuclear programme sent numerous letters, his final letter to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was only discovered after his death on Sunday.

Khan, who was acclaimed as a national hero for turning Pakistan into the world’s first Islamic nuclear state, thanked CM Murad Ali Shah for exhibiting concern over his worsening health.

Only the PPP leader contacted the national icon during his difficult times, he claimed. “I am pleased that my province’s Chief Minister remembered me,” Dr. Qadeer wrote.

He claimed that the prime ministers and chief ministers of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab appear to be waiting for the ‘good news’ of my death.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was the only Sindh government official to attend Dr. A.Q Khan’s funeral prayers. Despite the poor weather, Shah travelled to Islamabad to attend Abdul Qadeer Khan’s funeral prayers, which were held in the rain.

The funeral prayers were also attended by Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly, and Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Acting Chairman of the Senate.
