Dubai introduces Self-Driving Electric Cleaning Vehicle for Cycling Tracks

Dubai is making cycling tracks cleaner and greener with a new self-driving electric cleaning vehicle. The Dubai Municipality announced the launch of this project on social media. They are testing a self-driving electric vehicle to clean the cycling paths along Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim beaches.

This effort is part of their plan to manage waste effectively and keep Dubai’s tourist spots clean and beautiful. They are using modern tech like automated electric vehicles to reduce pollution and carbon emissions.

The new vehicle has rotary cleaning brushes in the front and doesn’t need a driver to control it. It is smart enough to detect people on the road and stop to avoid accidents. Plus, it is super productive and can work for 8 hours on a single charge.

What’s even better is that it is eco-friendly and can go at an average speed of 40 km/h in normal mode. This means cleaner cycling tracks and a greener Dubai for everyone to enjoy.
