The Ministry of Federal Education and Professionals has signed an MoU with Google and Tech Valley to make Islamabad the gold standard for digitally enabled government schools.
The initiative is part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s “Digital Pakistan” vision, which aims to digitally transform the country. Tech Valley will install Google Work Space based on Cloud-Based Infrastructure in 200 male and female schools across the Islamabad Capital Territory in the first phase of this initiative.
While Google will provide these schools with distance learning tools as well as Chromebooks.
In the second phase, all teachers will receive virtual training on how to use and benefit from these tools effectively.
