After acquiring Validus Engineering Pakistan, Elsewedy Electric, an Egyptian engineering services firm, is looking to expand production in Pakistan. Atif Bokhari, Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI) announced this.
“The Egyptian firm just bought a 100% equity stake in Validus Engineering Pakistan and has plans to enhance manufacturing capacity to not only meet domestic demand but also promote regional export,” Atif wrote on Twitter.
He further stated that the Egyptian firm has expressed interest in participating in BOI’s Projects Portal’s infrastructure and development projects.
