Job Purpose:

The primary objective of the Sales Executive position is to achieve predetermined sales revenue targets by establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) agents, incentive houses, associations, and other stakeholders. The role also involves promoting Dubai as a global MICE destination and collaborating with stakeholders to increase traffic flows in these segments.

Job Accountabilities:

  1. Cultivate and enhance relationships with designated major MICE agents and associations to optimize existing revenue and explore new revenue potential.
  2. Foster strong partnerships with various MICE and association stakeholders, including Convention Bureaus, Hotels, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and Tourism Offices, to position Emirates as a leading carrier with a global reach.
  3. Collaborate closely with the Global MICE team, channel and regional sales managers to effectively manage strategic accounts and share business opportunities across territories.
  4. Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers based on revenue portfolios and account requirements, as agreed with the Manager Sales. Maintain accurate records of sales calls in the system.
  5. Develop and implement marketing and sales plans for key accounts within the MICE segment.
  6. Monitor revenue results and account potential, recommending and implementing actions to maximize revenue.
  7. Negotiate and implement incentive and discount agreements for selected accounts, assessing their effectiveness.
  8. Generate sales leads using business intelligence tools, qualify prospects, and convert them into accounts.
  9. Proactively monitor competitor activity in the territory, coordinating with the local sales team and Global MICE team to determine appropriate responses.
  10. Serve as an Emirates brand ambassador in the assigned sales territory and represent the airline during various functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum ‘A’ Level or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in all aspects of the airline and travel trade sales environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing and pleasant personality.
  • Candidates must have the right to work and live in Pakistan.
