Ex-International Upmire Asad Rauf Now Owns a Clothes Shop in Pakistan

A past member of the Pakistani team, Asad Rauf, was being highlighted in an online video when it was disclosed that he is now managing a second-hand apparel shop in Landa Bazar, Lahore.

The ICC elite panel umpire of the past, who was blacklisted from the corporation six years back due to his involvement in an incident of match-fixing in the IPL 2013, has completely abandoned the game.

I have been umpired in a lot of games throughout my life. There are no individuals left to see anymore, “Rauf stated as an answer to a journalist’s question. “I have had no connection with the game since 2013.

As I leave something one time, I completely exit it,” he said additionally.  

A past opponent of the ICC Elite Panel, Asad Rauf started a different profession as an umpire, refereeing 170 games from 2010 to 2013. In addition, he has been working as a referee for significant competitions such as the World Cup and IPL as well.

Rauf is still earning money in a Lahore market six years after his ban, by selling clothing and tableware.
