The Sindh Excise Department has introduced a new service to deliver vehicle number plates directly to people’s homes. This decision was made during a meeting led by Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.
The plan includes setting up special offices dedicated to issuing premium number plates. In addition, a new motor registration office will be established in District South of Karachi, which will offer extended evening hours to provide better service to residents.
Sharjeel Memon, who manages various areas including transport, mass transit, excise, taxation, and narcotics control, highlighted the success of the initial phase of the premium number plate program.
He noted the positive response from the public, which has been very encouraging. This new initiative aims to streamline the process and improve convenience for vehicle owners.
