Facebook, YouTube & Twitter Reportedly Down in Pakistan

On Sunday evening, widespread outages impacted internet services and popular social media platforms, causing frustration among netizens in the country. Users reported connection errors and disruptions on various platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Downdetector.pk indicated a notable increase in connection outages for YouTube, X, and Facebook around 5 pm.

The extent of the outage also affected Google services and the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), as reported by downdetector.pk. The disruption’s cause remains unclear, and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has not issued any statements regarding the matter at the time of this report.
