Fakhar Zaman, the opening batter for the Lahore Qalandars, has set yet another milestone by being the best Powerplay batter in the history of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Zaman, who has been in fine form in the HBL PSL 7, has became the first batsman in the tournament’s history to hit 35 runs in six consecutive innings.
Last season’s record was held by Multan Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan, who scored 35 or more runs in five consecutive innings.
Zaman just earned the title of top batter in the HBL PSL Powerplays, as he had the greatest strike rate in the first six overs (min 500 runs).
Shan Masood, the Sultans’ opener, can tie Fakhar’s record if he scores 35 runs or more tonight against the Lahore Qalandars.
