A dog-nanny job opportunity posted by a billionaire American family in the UK received so many applications that the company has to pull their ad. The role posted by Fairfax and Kensington was offering a whopping Rs. 3.6 crore ($127,000).
The live-in dog-nanny job vacancy was posted on LinkedIn about 2 weeks ago. Upon coverage by the local news outlets, the family received massive applications surging from 300 to more than 2,000.
George Dunn with Fairfax and Kensington while talking to FOX TV Stations revealed that the role was the first-of-its-kind offering a pretty ‘unheard’ salary. The responsibilities as described by the owners included ‘unparalleled care and attention to the two dogs, whose breed was not disclosed.
As per the job description, the dog-nanny would be feeding, grooming, managing vet appointments for vaccination and regular checkups, as well as making a ‘personalized’ exercise schedule for ‘each dog’ to keep up with the physical and mental health.
The dog nanny would also be a part of the family’s domestic and international tours and responsible for keeping sensitive information confidential. The identity of the family and dogs is not revealed.
