Due to non-payment of taxes, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recently blocked all of the bank accounts of famed Pakistani vocalist, Aima Baig.
Before FBR arrived, Baig had already removed Rs 25 million from her bank accounts and emptied them.
The FBR is currently considering seizing her vehicles. According to reports, Baig owes Rs 85 million in back taxes. In the years 2018, 2019, and 2020, she failed to pay her taxes.
The FBR issued a notice to the singer on January 14, 2022.
However, the singer has been in the news recently after being chosen to sing the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) song alongside popular singer Atif Aslam. She was also a part of the super hit song ‘Groove Mera’ from last year.
