As per the official sources, FIFA has decided to lift the ban on the Pakistan Football Federation in order to give back the Normalization Committee regaining control of its headquarters.
About a year ago, Pakistan was blacklisted by FIFA. However, after unauthorized personnel took control of Football House in Lahore, the suspension was implemented.
Additionally, the government and the PFF had been working together to resume the game in Pakistan. FIFA has now declared that the ban on PFF will be lifted in the upcoming few days, after the transfer of control of the Football Headquarters to the Normalization Committee.
FIFA had earlier declared that the ban on Pakistan’s activities in sports will not be lifted until and unless FIFA’s Normalization Committee took control of the Football Headquarters.
