First Time in History Lamborghini Sells Over 10,000 Cars in 2023

In the year 2023, Lamborghini achieved a historic milestone by producing a record-breaking 10,112 vehicles, marking a remarkable moment in the company’s 60-year history. This achievement showcased a significant 10 percent increase from the production figures of the previous year, 2022.

While the introduction of the new hybrid Revuelto in 2023 contributed to the success, the Urus SUV played a pivotal role despite its aging status, accounting for an impressive 6,087 deliveries. The Huracan, which is expected to be succeeded by a new hybrid junior supercar in the current year, recorded notable sales of 3,962 units, reflecting a substantial increase from the 3,113 units sold in 2022.

On the other hand, the Aventador, in the process of being phased out, had a limited impact on the overall figures, with only 12 units sold, complemented by 51 Few-Off specials like the Countach. V12 cars constituted a smaller percentage of the total production.

Looking ahead, Lamborghini envisions a positive trajectory in its production figures, with the Revuelto, the upcoming Huracan successor, a facelifted and hybridized Urus, and an anticipated electric vehicle joining the lineup. Projections suggest that total production could exceed 13,000 units in the coming decade.

Analyzing the figures regionally, the combined Europe and Middle East (EMEA) market emerged as the largest consumer of Lamborghinis, witnessing a notable 14 percent increase with 3,987 units delivered. Following closely, the American market experienced a 9 percent rise, with 3,465 units contributing to Lamborghini’s global success.
