For 3 consecutive months, Exports of Pakistan to US remained over $400 million

Exports from Pakistan to the US grew by 27 percent to $425 million in December 2020, Pakistan’s Prime Minister for Trade and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood shared via his Twitter page on Friday.

This is up from the December 2019 figure of $334 million. “I’m happy to share that our exports to the US increased by 27 percent to USD 425 million in Dec 2020 compared to USD 334 million in Dec 2019,” the advisor wrote.

He also stated this is the first time in three consecutive months that our exports to the US have reached the $400 million mark.

The country’s exports to the US increased by 18.4 percent to $2.412 billion on a half-yearly basis (July to December 2020), compared to $2.037 billion in the same timeframe in 2019.
