Maryam Nawaz, who serves as the Chief Organizer of the PML-N, is scheduled to travel to London next week in response to her father Nawaz Sharif’s invitation. During her one-week visit, she plans to meet with the PML-N leader.
Sources from within the PML-N, who have knowledge of these developments, mentioned that Maryam will update her father on the party’s preparations for giving a warm welcome to their supreme leader upon his return to Pakistan. They also mentioned that the father-daughter duo is likely to discuss political and constitutional matters during their meeting. Maryam Nawaz expressed her belief that the welcome for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be historic, InshaAllah (God willing).
These sources further revealed that Nawaz Sharif will work out the details of his “homecoming,” and the party will finalize its plan to welcome him back to Pakistan after Maryam Nawaz returns.
Previously, the former finance minister, Ishaq Dar, stated that there are no obstacles preventing PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif from participating in elections.
