Gilgit Baltistan Nazanin Aman Becomes First Female Trophy Hunter in Pakistan

Women have always been essential to the development of nations. There is no doubt that without their involvement, a country cannot reach its heights, grow to be a big force, or even continue to exist as a separate entity.

Do not underestimate the power of women. But the First female trophy hunter from Gilgit-Baltistan is Dr. Naznain Aman.

On April 10th, 2023, she was successful in hunting a 42″ Himalayan ibex in Batura Valley Hussaini CCHA. The trophy was taken at Qirgiz Wask, which is located 17 kilometers down in the Batura Valley at an elevation of 3500 meters above sea level.

Nazanin Aman paid Rs 180,000 for the hunt, which took her team four days to complete. Residents receive 80% of the conservation hunting charge.

Shabir Rumi, a wildlife officer for Melaka, attested to the woman’s successful hunt and noted that Nazanin had earned the distinction of being Gilgit-Baltistan’s first woman wildlife hunter.
