Gold Prices Reach a Record High of Rs 289,600 Per Tola

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant increase on Friday, rising by Rs 2,900 per tola. This brought the new price to Rs 289,600, up from Rs 286,700 the day before, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went up by Rs 2,486, reaching Rs 248,285. Similarly, 22-karat gold experienced an increase, with its price now at Rs 227,603.

Silver prices followed the upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs 31, reaching Rs 3,432, while 10 grams of silver saw a rise of Rs 27, making the new price Rs 2,942.

On the international market, gold prices also climbed. There was a $29 increase per ounce, bringing the global rate to $2,772.

These rising prices reflect ongoing changes in the precious metals market, impacting both local and global investors.
