Government invited hackers to find security flaws in Ehsaas program

The federal government has asked ethical hackers to find security flaws in its flagship poverty alleviation initiative, the Ehsaas Program, in order to assure maximum security and efficiency.

According to the report, Ehsaas will hold a hacking competition in which ethical hackers will be invited to join and point out any flaws in the company’s digital operations.

This is being done as part of the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy (VDP), which attempts to give hackers explicit parameters for reporting potentially unknown and damaging security vulnerabilities.

In addition, the DG IT Ehsaas program updated the meeting on the status of the program’s Cyber Control Wing.

The official stated that the CCW’s scope and TORs for hiring experts had recently been finalized, and that applications for various CCW positions had been sought.
