Govt Decides to Set Up Markets at Pak-Iran Border

Zubaida Jalal, the Minister for Defence Production, said that in order to facilitate Pak-Iran trade relations, various measures will be taken to provide relief to residents of Balochistan’s Pak-Iran border areas.

She told a delegation of local elders that the government has agreed to create Border Markets at the Pak-Iran border in order to legalize trade in areas near the border.

The Minister said that the government is paying 1.5 million rupees per acre for land adjacent to the Gabad area’s border corridors in order to create a border market.

She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had approved the Southern Balochistan Package, which aims to improve the region’s basic infrastructure and make it more available.
