The government’s final energy conservation plan, which was unveiled on Tuesday by Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, stipulates that markets across the nation will close at 8:30 p.m. and wedding venues at 10:00 p.m.
After the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday, he spoke at a press conference alongside Ministers for the Environment Sherry Rehman and Power Khurram Dastgir Khan.
The rapid implementation of the energy saving strategy was given approval by the federal cabinet. Tuesday’s meeting was place in Islamabad and was presided over by the prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif.
He also stated that in order to save electricity, only 50% of the country’s street lights will be used.
