The public authority has purportedly expanded the cost of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs. 15 for each kg.
As indicated by an assertion gave by the LPG Association, from January 2021 onwards, the cost of LPG will be Rs. 147 for every kg rather than Rs. 132 for each kg. Additionally, the cost of a homegrown use gas chamber has been expanded by Rs. 180 and will currently be accessible for Rs. 1,733 rather than Rs. 1,553.
The cost of a business use gas chamber has likewise been expanded by Rs. 692 and will currently be sold for Rs. 6,667 rather than Rs 5,975.
The Chairman of All Pakistan LPG Association said that the cost of LPG had ascended by $79 per metric ton in the global market, after which its cost had heightened from $457 to $536.
Following the issuance of a warning by the Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA), the new costs will be material from 1 January 2021.
The executive took steps to have the gas supply from Khyber to Karachi halted from 15 January 2021 if all the charges remembering the duty for LPG are not postponed.
