According to reports, Deputy Commissioner Karachi East Asif Jan wrote to DMC East Administrator Rehmatullah Shaikh and other relevant authorities on Monday, requesting that all political flags be removed from the Shahrah-e-Faisal and other vital motorways in Karachi.
According to a letter, political flags on Karachi highways are illegal due to a Supreme Court of Pakistan judgement. Assistant Commissioner Ferozabad Asma Batool has been assigned the operation’s focal point.
The deputy commissioner also requested that the District East administrator deliver the necessary equipment.
According to insiders, a campaign to remove all political party flags will begin soon.
