Govt to encourage E-Vehicle Mobility for Affordable mode of transport in Pakistan.

Malik Amin Aslam, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, stated that the current government is committed to pursuing green pathways by adopting and promoting green mobility concepts at all levels, where e-vehicles are encouraged as a sustainable and more affordable mode of transportation in the country.

“The future now calls for a green mobility’ with, among other things, ‘green vehicles’ and for those the fundamental infrastructure to secure an individual and environmentally-friendly mobility freedom and ‘green’ goods transport,” he said on Thursday at a local hotel while addressing a launching ceremony of e-Bike in e-Commerce Space’ event.

“Because, in the context of sustainable mobility, relevant infrastructure technology plays an unprecedented role in dealing with environmental deterioration, contaminated air quality, and sustainable transportation,” he explained.

The PM’s aide praised the efforts of a delivery App to incorporate e-bikes into its food delivery system, which would not only help cut fuel expenses for food riders but also contribute to the incumbent government’s environmental protection efforts, which are being implemented under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for Clean Green Pakistan. “I am overjoyed that the country’s leading online food and grocery delivery platform has introduced e-bikes into the food delivery system, demonstrating its dedication to preserving the country from environmental deterioration, particularly air pollution,” Malik Amin Aslam said.
