As per reports, the National Highway Authority (NHA) Executive Board has approved the annual maintenance plan (AMP) 2021-22, which includes Rs 53.558 billion in carry forward liabilities from previous AMPs, as well as Rs 21.014 billion in carry forward liabilities from prior AMPs.
According to sources, the approval was granted during a Board meeting chaired by Capt Muhammad Khurram Agha (retired), who is the Chairman of NHA.
The Board also discussed the development of a business plan which was earlier approved by the NHA Executive Board decision.
Further, the NHA Executive Board also approved a 10% increase in routine maintenance allocation and a 10% increase in highway safety allocation.
