Govt to Open Applications for 5,000 More Hajj Pilgrims

The government has announced plans to invite 5,000 more applications for the upcoming Hajj scheme. This decision was shared during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Religious Affairs.

Officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs assured that the quality of food provided to pilgrims would not be compromised. They emphasized their commitment to ensuring that all meals meet high standards to offer a comfortable experience for those performing Hajj.

The committee also discussed the need to provide better training for Pakistani pilgrims, helping them prepare for the spiritual journey more effectively. Another topic of discussion was the absence of Pakistan Houses in Makkah and Madinah, which is due to Saudi laws that restrict the establishment of such facilities.

Looking ahead, the Ministry outlined plans to improve essential services for future Hajj arrangements. Officials promised to address challenges and enhance the overall experience for pilgrims.
