The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), operating under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD), has announced new initiatives to provide employment opportunities abroad.
These efforts include sending medical professionals to Saudi Arabia and skilled and unskilled workers to Bahrain’s construction sector.
According to official details, the OEC is inviting applications from interested candidates nationwide, with a deadline of December 18, 2024. Among the positions in Bahrain is Laboratory Manager, requiring a BSc in Engineering, B-Tech, Graduation, or DAE Civil qualifications. Applicants must also have at least 15 years of experience, including 5 years in a relevant role.
For Saudi Arabia, the OEC is seeking qualified medical professionals. Applicants need to hold an MBBS or equivalent degree from an accredited institution and must have completed the HIMAA, ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS Introductory Course.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field or in processing insurance claims is required. Candidates must be under 50 years of age, with applications open to both male and female candidates.
The OEC has emphasized its growing role in providing skilled manpower to over 40 countries worldwide, creating valuable opportunities for Pakistani workers. Interested individuals can submit their applications online through the OEC’s official website.
These initiatives aim to enhance employment prospects while strengthening Pakistan’s presence in the global workforce market.
