Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood, announced that Hajj training is now mandatory for pilgrims.
Those without a training certificate will not be allowed to travel abroad for Hajj. The training aims to ensure that pilgrims are familiar with local Saudi rules and regulations, enabling them to perform the Hajj rites properly.
The minister emphasized the importance of restraint and good conduct during the pilgrimage. Additionally, he expressed concerns about the quality of medicines provided to pilgrims in the past and collected samples for further examination in a laboratory.
