Hybrid vehicles are becoming the next big thing in Pakistan after SUVs. The plug-in hybrid version of MG’s SUV, the MG HS, was the first to arrive. Haval has recently brought the first Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) into the country. The vehicle is currently on exhibit at the HAVAL dealership in Karachi (Automotive Technologies).
The hybrid version of the Haval H6 is the same size as the petrol version. The dimensions are 4653 mm long, 1886 mm wide, and 1724 mm in height. The vehicle has a ground clearance of 210 mm and a gasoline tank capacity of 60 gallons.
The 1.5L turbocharged engine of the Haval H6 HEV delivers 147 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. With DHT, the hybrid drivetrain produces combined power of 245 bhp and torque of 530 Nm (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission). The vehicle’s hybrid functionality can operate at full capacity without the use of an external charger or plug-in system, which may be the vehicle’s most useful feature.
Haval H6 HEV has a similar appearance to the petrol-powered Haval H6. The front fascia is the most noticeable modification, with a larger grille, lower splitter, and new fog lamp design. This is essentially a facelift for the H6’s third generation.
LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED fog lights, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), and 19-inch alloy wheels are among the additional highlights.
The H6 HEV will compete on the local market against the MG HS PHEV and Toyota Corolla Cross. Let’s see when Haval makes the hybrid SUV official.
