Small Relief! Govt Decreases Petrol Prices by Rs. 1.97,New Petrol Price: Rs. 297.53

The federal government has announced a slight reduction in petroleum prices, offering modest relief to consumers by cutting the price of petrol by Rs. 1.97 per litre.

Following the latest revision, the new petrol price has been set at Rs. 297.53 per litre. The revised rates came into effect as part of the government’s regular fortnightly review of petroleum prices, which takes into account fluctuations in international oil markets and changes in the exchange rate.

Although the reduction is relatively small, it is expected to provide some relief to motorists and businesses facing persistently high fuel costs.

However, many consumers believe the impact on overall transportation expenses and the prices of essential goods will remain limited. The government maintains that fuel prices are adjusted in line with global market trends and economic conditions to ensure stability in the country’s petroleum sector.
