The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA presented a Bizzare solution for population control. Abdul Qadir Patel said whoever wants to have more children can migrate to any other Muslim country where the population is less so that the Muslim population can grow there.
He further said that people should be aware of Family planning in order to keep the Population growth in check. Qadir expressed satisfaction that religious scholars are cooperating in this regard.
He predicted that given the current rate of growth, Pakistan’s population could grow to 285 million by 2030. It was important to keep population growth in check so that the government is able to provide better health and educational services to the people from available resources.
He highlighted how greater effort is needed to create awareness regarding population control throughout the country.
