Heat Wave Likely to Rise in Sindh from Today

Heat is predicted to rise in Sindh from today and temperatures are expected to go up to 44 degrees celsius in some areas.

In Karachi, the temperature is forecast to be 36 to 38 degrees Celsius for three days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the country recorded 12.5 percent above normal rainfall in April and the highest rainfall in April was recorded in Dir at 191 mm.

In April, day and night temperatures were 0.26 degrees below the normal average.

On the other hand, rain is continuing in the plains of Astor district of Gilgit-Baltistan and heavy snowfall in the upper areas.

Locals and tourists are facing problems due to the loss of land connectivity to many upper areas. Apart from this, snowfall is also continuing in the upper areas of Ghajar.
