Here’s How Much Pakistanis Have to Pay for an Italy Schengen Visa

Italy, renowned for its historic landmarks, scenic beauty, and mouthwatering cuisine, continues to attract visitors from all over the world. For Pakistani travelers dreaming of exploring Italy, obtaining a Schengen visa is the first step. This visa not only grants access to Italy but also opens the door to other countries in the Schengen Area.

The Schengen visa has several categories, including the short-term Type C visa, which allows a stay of up to 90 days. The fee for this visa, effective January 2024, is set at 90 euros (approximately Rs27,450) for adults.

Children aged 6 to 12 pay a reduced fee of 45 euros (Rs13,730). For those planning a longer stay, such as for work, study, or residency, the Type D national visa is required, costing 116 euros (Rs35,380).

To apply for a visa, applicants must provide proof of financial stability, typically through a recent bank statement.

This document helps ensure the traveler can cover their expenses during their stay. Additionally, applicants must submit their paperwork to the consulate of the primary destination country or the first point of entry if visiting multiple Schengen nations.

The visa application process can vary depending on the purpose of travel, and visas may allow single, double, or multiple entries. Pakistanis interested in exploring Italy should plan ahead, familiarize themselves with the requirements, and budget accordingly for a seamless experience.

Italy offers more than just a trip; it’s a journey through history, culture, and unforgettable moments. With the right preparation, Pakistanis can turn their Italian adventure into reality.
