HIWT (Help International Welfare Trust) organizes blood donation drives for Thalassemic children every few months to provide blood uninterruptedly. Due to Ramadan, people have stepped down from donating blood, resulting in severe blood shortages for the children.
Delay in blood transfusion is a life threat to them. Please donate blood; it is healthy for you and helps save lives. Help Thalassemia Care Center is based in Gulistan e Jauhar, Karachi, where the thalassemia patients receive blood along with other facilities.
In addition, the organization is invested in playing a positive role in society by organizing rashan drives, blanket drives, installing water pumps, and providing relief to the needy in various parts of the country.
