Rain has started across the country, including Islamabad, which continues intermittently. Due to the rain, the heat broke.
Besides this, During the next 24 hours, rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in upper and western parts of the country.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Punjab, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, have started raining intermittently, due to which the intensity of heat has reduced.
According to the Meteorological Department, the new series of rains will continue till Eid.
Hailstorm is also expected in different areas during this period.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been continuing in various areas of Punjab including Kahuta, Multan, Chakwal, Talagang, Uch Sharif since night.
While other areas including Jacobabad, Larkana and other areas of Sindh are also receiving rain and thundershowers.
