How Many Holidays will be on Eid-ul-Azha?

According to the Climate Data Processing Center, the moon of Dhul-Hajj is likely to be seen on June 19, in Pakistan on June 20, it will be on June 20 and Eid-ul-Azha can be on Thursday, June 29.

On the other hand, like every year, at the beginning of this year, the Cabinet Division had notified next year’s public holidays and optional holidays.

According to the announcement, there will be three holidays of Eid-ul-Azha on June 29, 30 and July 1. It has been said in the notification that islamic holidays for the year 2023 have been fixed according to the expected date and a separate notification of holidays will also be issued according to the sighting of the moon.

It is to be noted that the meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is convened on the 29th of every Islamic month and at the end of the meeting, the final announcement of whether the moon will be sighted or not will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
