A recent news report stated that Huawei plans to partner in the first half of 2021 with BAIC Blue Valley to build a new smart car.
During a session with the media, the news of the partnership between the two companies came earlier today. The Chinese media and infotainment outlet ChinaStarMarket was the first to publish a report claiming that the partnership had started in January.
Information are scarce at the moment on the distinctive range of features to be applied to the smart car to make it stand out from the competition.
The report added however, that Huawei was responsible for performing research and development activities for software systems, ICT technology, and cloud computing systems for the smart car.
