According to the All Pakistan Jewelers Association, the price of one tola (approximately 11.66 grams) of gold in Pakistan rose to 264,500 rupees on Wednesday, making it 6,400 rupees more expensive than the previous day.
Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold increased to 177,740 rupees with a 5,487 rupee rise. Meanwhile, in the global market, the price of gold per ounce rose to $1,959, marking an increase of $36.
It’s important to note that just two days ago, both the global and local gold prices had decreased. In Pakistan, one tola of gold had become 1,900 rupees cheaper, and the price of 10 grams of gold had dropped by 1,629 rupees.
In the global market, the price of gold had decreased by $36 per ounce.
