Hyundai Launched Elantra Sedan in Pakistan

After a year of speculation since the Hyundai Elantra was first unveiled at the PAPS Auto Show in Lahore in February 2020, Hyundai Nishat has finally put our fears to rest by announcing the official launch of the 6th Generation Elantra in Pakistan.

On the 21st of March, 2021, like that of all new vehicles in Pakistan, the launch was broadcast live on Facebook. Television personalities Khalid Malik and Anushay Ashraf hosted the event, guiding audiences through each stage of the launch, explaining the automaker in detail, and creating excitement for Hyundai’s new offering.

Hyundai Elantra, as previously stated, is a compact sedan that will compete in Pakistan with the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. The vehicle will be available as a ready-to-drive (CKD) unit assembled in Pakistan. Furthermore, the Hyundai Nishat is proud to be the only car in its class to offer a 2.0-liter gasoline engine.

Price:

For the time being, the car will only be available in one trim level, with a price of Rs. 4,049,000, making it marginally more expensive than the Toyota Corolla’s top trim level, but substantially less expensive than the Honda Civic RS Turbo trim level.

Bookings for the vehicle will begin on March 22, 2021, and the automaker will also provide test-drive opportunities to interested parties.
