According to reports, plans for the ICC World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour in Pakistan have been finalized.
Speculation has it that the trophy will arrive in Lahore on the morning of September 5 and remain in Pakistan until the following day, September 6. The two-day trip will include stops at museums, shopping centers, and universities.
Pakistan was set to host the World Cup trophy for five days, from July 31 to August 4. However, it was postponed because of uncertainty regarding Pakistan’s involvement in the massive event. The tournament will run from October 5th to November 19th, and all ten games will be played at different locations around the country.
All teams will face off against one another in a total of 45 league matches during the Cricket World Cup’s round-robin format.
The semifinals will be held in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16, and the top four teams will advance to those games. Reserve days will be used for the semifinals and the championship game.
