India Cannot Impose it will on Pakistan: Moin Khan on Asia Cup Deadlock

Former National cricketer, Moon Khan shared his views on current debate between PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) and BCCI (Board of Cricket Control in India) related to the venue for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023.

While addressing media, former cricketer emphasized that it’s important for both the boards to be on one page and have a midway in order to resolve the issue through discussion.

Moon also stressed that cricket diplomacy between both the nations was important to make sure that the game would be played in a healthy and competitive manner.

“If India does not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then Pakistan should not go either for the World Cup. I think Pakistan Cricket Board should oppose this,” said Moin.
“If India plays the Asia Cup at a neutral venue, Pakistan’s matches should also be held at a neutral venue,” he stated.

Moin Khan suggested for discussion and cricket diplomacy to resolve issues between BCCI and PCB, condemning the use of money as leverage by the Indian board.
