Indian Cannot Impose its Will on Pakistan: Moin Khan on Asia Cup Deadlock

Moin Khan is a Pakistani Coach who was the part of Pakistani team from 1990 to 2004. He shared his thoughts on the going debate between the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) related to the conduit of the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 & World Cup 2023.

During the news conference, Moin emphasized that it is important for both to come to a collaborative agreement and then resolve this issue through dialogues. He also highlighted that cricket consultation is important so the sport can be played competitively and healthily.

“If India does not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then Pakistan should not go either for the World Cup. I think Pakistan Cricket Board should oppose this,” Moin said.

“If India plays the Asia Cup at a neutral venue, Pakistan’s matches should also be held at a neutral venue,” he also said.

It should be eminent that last year in October, Pakistani cricket jurisdiction indicated they may be getting off for World Cup next year in India, after that day officials of India said they wouldn’t send their team to the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan.

Indian cricket board secretary Jay Shah said that India “can’t” send a team to Pakistan, Moreover, the championship must Proceed to any other natural venue.
