The Islamabad law enforcement lately ended up hiring student interns in order to improve the public relations and answer more rapidly to citizen complaints.
Qazi Jamil ur Rehman, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) of Islamabad, made this decision in order to speed up the resolution of complaints.
This was announced by a police spokeswoman on Tuesday.
Competent students will be selected and sent to all police stations in the federal capital with the goal of observing officers’ interactions with the public. They’ll look for flaws in these interactions and compile daily reports to send to the Central Police Office.
A board of top police personnel will analyse the reports, after which recommendations for reforming the police system will be finalised.
