Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed that he was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer but has now made a full recovery after undergoing successful targeted radiation therapy. The 76-year-old Israeli leader explained that the tumour was detected at a very small and localized stage, with no evidence that it had spread to other parts of the body.
He shared that doctors recommended precise radiation treatment, which was completed successfully and led to a full recovery. Medical teams have since confirmed that he is currently cancer-free and in good health, with no signs of recurrence. Netanyahu described the treatment process as carefully managed and effective, allowing him to recover without major disruption.
He also explained that he chose to delay making the information public in order to avoid speculation or misinformation, especially during a sensitive period of regional tensions involving Iran. According to him, releasing the news earlier could have created unnecessary confusion at a time when political and security situations were already strained.
Reassuring the public, Netanyahu stated that his condition has been fully resolved and that he has returned to normal duties. He emphasized that he is in good health and remains fully capable of continuing his responsibilities, adding that this chapter is now behind him.
