This accomplishment extends beyond a quarterly victory, with Jazz securing the title of the country’s fastest mobile broadband provider for the entire year of 2023, dominating across all categories in Ookla’s annual rankings.
Jazz’s noteworthy achievement is highlighted by its impressive average download speed of 21.38 Mbps. This not only outpaces other mobile operators but also surpasses nearly all fixed broadband providers, with just one exception in Q4, 2023.
In the same period, competing mobile operators such as Zong, Ufone, and Telenor reported download speeds of 19.52 Mbps, 10.18 Mbps, and 5.14 Mbps, respectively.
Beyond speed, Jazz demonstrated consistent excellence throughout 2023, earning the distinction of being the most consistent mobile broadband provider. This is reflected in its consistency scores of 82.1 percent in Q1, 80.5 percent in Q3, and maintaining a strong score of 81.9 percent in Q4, 2023. In this aspect, Jazz only trailed behind Zong, which claimed the top spot with a consistency score of 83.2 percent.
