The Pakistan Airport Authority has introduced new entry rules at Karachi’s airport to enhance security. These measures require individuals entering the airport to present a copy of the passenger’s ticket they are accompanying. This regulation applies to visitors coming to pick up or drop off passengers and aims to prevent overcrowding and maintain a secure environment.
As per the new guidelines, each passenger is permitted to bring up to four visitors inside the airport. However, these visitors must carry a copy of the passenger’s ticket to be allowed entry. Passengers arriving from abroad are advised to share their ticket copy with family members or friends who are coming to receive them at the airport.
This move is part of the Pakistan Airport Authority’s broader effort to ensure a safe and controlled environment. Additionally, the authority recommends that visitors bring an identification certificate along with the passenger’s ticket as part of the verification process.
The updated security measures are expected to improve the flow of people within the airport and reduce security risks. This initiative marks a significant step towards better managing airport operations, providing a safer experience for both travelers and their companions.
