Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated on Saturday that Karachi belongs to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the founder of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and it will continue to be that way.
The chief minister made these comments following the election of Murtaza Wahab, a member of the PPP, as the mayor of Karachi with 173 votes in a show of hands. Speaking in the Sindh Assembly, the chief minister emphasized that the city of Karachi has a strong association with Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the PPP, and this connection will endure.
