ARY News has announced that Karachi Port has broken the world record for the most bulk cargo handled in a single day.
The port set this new record by unloading 11,802 tonnes of fertilizer in one day, according to the data.
The previous two world records for handling the most bulk cargo in one day were also held by Karachi port.
In 2003, by dispatching record fertilizer in one day, the port accomplished the feat for the first time. It surpassed its own record by unloading record fertilization three years later, in 2006,
Karachi Port also docked the largest Southampton Express ship, carrying 12,600 containers at South Asia Pakistan Ports earlier this year in April.
