Kia Unveils Its First Dedicated Electric Vehicle ‘EV6’

On Tuesday, the South Korean automaker teased a collection of photos of the EV6, the company’s first electric vehicle to be built on the E-GMP (electric global modular platform).

According to info, the car was unveiled in January as part of Kia’s seven-year EV strategy, which includes the unveiling of seven dedicated models by 2027.

While the company is not disclosing information at this time, we can anticipate from the photos that the EV6 will have sleek, sharp lines and a fastback-style rear end, and will be shaped like a low-set crossover.

According to Kia, the EV6 not only ushers in a new era for the brand, but it also establishes the naming scheme for the company’s dedicated electric series, as well as the purpose behind its new EV design language, which differs significantly from the e-Niro and e-Soul.
