KP Govt to Increase Sehat Card Amount from Rs. 10 Lakhs to Rs. 20 Lakhs

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced an increase in the health card amount from Rs 1 million to Rs 2 million. During a ceremony in Peshawar, Gandapur explained that this health card allows residents to receive medical treatment at selected hospitals nationwide.

He stressed the importance of this initiative, particularly in light of the economic difficulties faced by the province. Gandapur acknowledged that, while the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are self-reliant, they still require support in challenging times.

The Chief Minister also discussed the law and order situation, highlighting it as a major issue. He emphasized the necessity of developing the underprivileged areas of the province to enhance security and stability.

Gandapur called for collective efforts to address these challenges and improve the overall well-being of the province’s residents. The increase in the health card amount is seen as a significant step towards providing better healthcare and support to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
