KP To Become A Digital Province With The Help Of A Government Company

By providing Rs.2.5 billion rupees in the financial year 2020-21, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has made a record rise of 137 percent for the promotion of Science and Technology.

In a statement, Minister for Information Technology Atif Khan stated that the rise in budget from Rs1.1 billion to Rs 2.6 billion demonstrates that the provincial government is paying special attention to this important industry, which represents the province’s future.

He stated that the provincial administration is committed to establishing a knowledge-based economy and firm in order to transform Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a digital province.

Citizen facilitation centres in newly merged districts, support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem through the Durshal programme, early childhood programming for children in government schools, enhancing industrial competitiveness and innovation, and model science laboratories in merged districts are among the steps being taken to promote information technology.
